Featured Project

Dumans

Terraced hillside access with cleaner steps, retaining walls, and drought-aware planting.

This project reshaped a sloped yard into a more usable and welcoming landscape with stronger structure and clearer movement from grade to grade. New concrete stair runs, retaining planes, and layered planting give the site a more finished profile while helping the elevation change feel deliberate rather than difficult.

Soft planting and colorful accents keep the overall composition approachable, while the hardscape framework improves access and reinforces the architecture of the home.

Client Goal

The goal was to make a sloped landscape easier to navigate and visually stronger from the street while keeping the planting fresh and manageable.

Solution

We rebuilt the circulation path with broad concrete steps, simple retaining geometry, and planted terraces that soften the grade change and add year-round interest.

Results

The finished hillside feels much more accessible and much more complete, with better flow, stronger curb appeal, and a clearer relationship between the home and landscape.
